Matt Morse is our principal consultant at the Dragonfly Water Consultancy. As a small company we demonstrate our competence with Matt’s past work and experience as summarised below:

• Over twenty years in the water treatment and water hygiene industry

• Serving on the Legionella Control Association management committee as Chairman, Vice Chairman, Honorary Secretary and Publicity Officer

• Member of several British Standards Institute committees/working groups

• Fellow of the Water Management Society

• Member of the Institute of Health Estates and Estates Managers

• Previously Lead Technical Manager for one of the largest water treatment companies in the UK

• Contributed to BS8580 standard for Legionella risk assessment

• Contributed to BS8680 standard for Water Safety Plans

• Contributed to BS7592 standard for legionella sampling

• Revised the Legionella Control Association competence guidelines

• Wrote the 2018 Legionella Risk Assessment Service Standard

• Wrote the LCA guidance and template on escalation procedures

• Created competence assessment process for several water treatment companies

• Wrote and delivered bespoke training programmes
